Greenworks 8 Amp 12 inch Electric Snow Shovel

It works great getting the snow off my porches and deck. It has really saved my back!

Works like a champ! I've used it for two snowfalls so far (less than six inches) and it makes short work of clearing front and back sidewalks as well as a path to the garage on a single charge. It's somewhat heavy but since you don't have to lift the snow and then twist to toss it, there's a lot less back strain.

Love this little guy! Definately makes shoveling the walk/driveway sooo much easier.
Only "flaw" is that the machine is designed to work for righties...while I am in fact one of those, I still like to swap arms when one arm gets tired.
Due to the location of the "safety" button, it really only works well for righties. If they can move that safety to be more ambidexterous, it will significantly improve this amazing machine!

Took me a while to review as we didn't get a large enough volume of snow to shovel till now. I'm a lady in my 60's and I can handle this well. I think this works great! I start off with a single pass through the side walk area and then angle the shovel towards the curb since it has not directive guide to shoot the snow off to the side like a traditional snow blower. It would be nice if you could direct the snow blow to the side, but you just have to be creative and you can get the job done. I live on a corner lot so there is plenty to shovel. Battery handles everything. Good power to shoot that snow high enough to clear easily. Light enough for me to carry inside the house after I'm finished. Being cordless is wonderful and because I have other GreenWorks tools that use this battery, I always have power. You won't believe how quiet this is! Definitely recommend this product!

Even though the snow shovel is a bit heavy, it removes 6 inches of snow quickly and easily blowing the snow forward about twenty feet. Much easier that a tradition shovel. With the cordless snow shovel the snow is cleared all the way to the pavement. I bought without the battery because I have a Greenworks 40V lawn mover which is currently not in use; so the Greenworks battery can be shared with all 40V devices. The snow shovel easily hangs on the garage wall next to the salt. Great product; just stick with Greenworks.
